Marinemuseum Karlskrona

The "Marinemuseum Karlskrona", located on the swedish island of Stumholmen, offers you the opportunity to experience the Swedish Navy´s history from 18th century to modern times.

The ship models and constructional modelsof the model chamber, that was founded 1752 by the then king Adolf Frederik, together with the galleon figureheads and one of the world´s finest collections of museum ships build the heart of the museum.

Among the highlights of the museum are the Underwater tunnel from which you can view an 18th century wreck that lies beneath the museum and the Minesweeper Bremön, a real warship form WWII with most of its 1940s interior intact.
